The weather was hot and the racing was too Friday night at Chateau Raceway in Lansing powered by Husqvarna. It was the twelfth night of racing for the 2007 racing season and with the racing for July over with it leaves just four nights of racing to decide Track Champions for this year. Going into Friday nights action only two of the six classes had drivers with a thirty plus points lead so the battles are looking good going down the stretch.

The Triple J Disposal Classic Dwarf Cars are turning into a two car race with Kevin Bigalk of Austin and John Griffin of Caledonia finishing one-two quite often. The two sit just that way in the point standings as well with Bigalk up twelve points after Friday nights action. Kevin took home a pair of wins for the second week in a row as he recorded his fourth feature win and fourth sweep of the year as well. Griffin was second in the feature followed by Dave Anderson of Lyle, Jeremy Anderson of Faribault, and Charles Barth of Harmony.

Friday Nights program was sponsored by The Motor Supply Companies of
Austin and Albert Lea and Northstar PowerSports and Marine with plenty of giveaways including two more bicycles for the kids. Next Friday nights Kids Friendly Promotion will Feature a Candy Drop on the front straightaway. Racing action gets underway at 7:30 every Friday night with six classes of racing at Chateau Raceway in Lansing.
