Deer Creek Speedway Announces 2005 Schedule

Deer Creek Speedway proudly announces its 2005 race schedule.  The Special Events calendar is packed full of new events and the returning of many existing events.

Highlighting the schedule are two new events for the 2005 season.  On Monday June 6th the Gopher 50 Late Model race will be at the speedway with sanctioning from the World of Outlaws Late Models.  The national touring series will be making their first ever appearance at the Deer Creek Speedway for the 26th running of the Gopher 50.  All advance ticket holders of the previous Gopher 50 races will be offered tickets before the general public.  More information on the ticket sales will be released soon.

Saturday June 25th will see the Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprint Cars circling the speedway.  The 410 sprints will also be making their first appearance to the speedway and expect to see a new speed record set at the high banked Southern Minnesota Speedplant.

Other events during the season include two O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series events along with the 7th annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree featuring the O’Reilly Auto Parts USMTS modifieds.  The Combine Demolition Derby returns in July on the 13th.  August will also see the return of the Polydome World Dirt Racing League to the speedway on the 9th during our kids free month where all kids receive free admission into the speedway.

Racing action starts April 9th with all April races starting at 5:00.
